I’m Heathur — the heart and artist behind Heathur Blu Photography.

At the core of everything I create is a deep passion for empowering women and honoring the stories that deserve to be seen.Photography, to me, isn’t about perfection — it’s about truth. I’m drawn to raw emotion, real connection, and the in-between moments that tell a story far more powerful than a perfectly posed image ever could. Whether it’s the quiet strength of motherhood, the vulnerability of pregnancy, or the love woven through a family, my goal is always to capture how this season feels, not just how it looks.

Going into every session, I’m incredibly intentional. In the back of my mind is always the same purpose — creating meaningful art that your family will treasure not just now, but for generations to come. Images meant to live on your walls, in heirloom albums, and in the stories passed down through time.

During maternity sessions especially, my focus is on helping mothers truly see their power and beauty. Whether that comes through bold, Vogue-inspired posing or soft, intimate moments that honor this sweet season, I create space for women to feel confident, strong, and deeply connected to their bodies and stories. I love pushing the boundaries of art and photography while remaining grounded in authenticity and emotion.

I believe every person who steps in front of my lens deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely themselves. I take pride in creating a space where women feel empowered, children feel free to be playful, and even the dads who would rather be on the couch watching the game find themselves laughing — and actually enjoying the experience. Those authentic smiles are never forced. They’re real.

With over a decade of experience, I gently guide each session while allowing room for movement, connection, and spontaneity. The result is imagery that feels honest, emotive, and timeless — photographs that tell your story in a way that’s beautifully raw and deeply personal.

I am conveniently located inside of Early View Ultrasound in Longview, Tx. I’m honored to have my work recognized locally, including a nomination for East Texas 40 Under 40, but my greatest reward will always be the families who trust me with their stories.
